Blame and Forgiveness cannot occupy the same space.

20 Friday Jun 2014

Blame and Forgiveness cannot occupy the same space.

The more blame becomes your norm, the less room you have in your heart for forgiveness.

Whoa. What just happened. Is it me or are you noticing it also. It seems that all of a sudden (the last few years) all these so called ‘life coaches’ are coming out of the woodwork. Who the heck decided that we need life coaches and what the hell do they do?
Growing up I had a life coach – I called her Mom. Everything I learned about life was guided by her stern and loving hand. So are you saying that I need a Mom replacement now that I am an adult?
One thought that people have about life coaches is ‘if I can’t manage my own life without help from a stranger then I have bigger problems that need to be addressed.’ Often these people are mentally tough minded and independent or some would say stubborn individuals that have that view. It’s easy to see these same people wait until they are completely lost while driving before stopping someone to ask for directions. But the truth is, some of us just want to figure it out ourselves and may even believe that to ask for help is a sign of weakness.
However, the truth also remains that every now and then we all need a little help to work through tough issues in our lives. But a stranger? And not only a stranger, but someone that wants to get paid for doing it?
What real value is there in that?

Let me know what you think – if there is a need, what is it exactly?
